Local Entrepreneur Opens 4th Location, Police Respond to Chaotic Scene

More than month after opening, NCPD has been regularly dispatched to assist with crowd control as overwhelming crowds have formed outside the newest American Dry Cleaners’ location at 357 S. Oyster Bay Rd in Plainview. This marks the opening of the fourth location operated by American Dry Cleaners, a third-generation company.

“Why open a store across the street from your other store?” puzzled customers asked. “It’s simple,” replied owner Daniel Kuchlik, 36. “If we didn’t, someone else would, and we want to take care of as many customers as possible.”

“Why open another store across the street from your other store?” asked puzzled customers.

“It’s simple,” replied owner Daniel Kuchlik, 36. “If we didn’t, someone else would, and we want to take care of as many customers as possible.”

Upon Plainview community members learning of the successful take over, crowds began lining up outside the store to be the first to experience their unparalleled quality firsthand. Crowds chanting “We love quality” and “We love clean” could be heard as far away as Town Bagel in Plainview as well as New Chili and Curry in Hicksville, however these reports are unverified as both establishments were dealing with long lines and devout customers of their own.

NCPD also responded after two Karens were seen battling over the same parking space outside of the store for over 20 minutes, attracting an even larger crowd. Eyewitness accounts reported no injuries, and 5 other open parking spaces adjacent to the original parking space in question.

“American Dry Cleaners does the best job! They pay so much attention to detail, text me when my order is ready, and their social offers are fire,” said a customer in line. She declined to give her name for fear of retribution from another dry cleaner she passes by just to come to American. “It’s like they know I’m going somewhere with better service and quality when I pass them.”

“American usually picks up my cleaning on Tuesday and delivers it on Friday for free, but I just had to wait in line and see the newly renovated store myself,” said another customer in line. “It’s no April Fool’s joke…I also heard they are giving 25% off one order for the entire month of April with no exclusions! Just mention code APRILFOOLS in store or online.”
